The Role Outline:
Your Shift at a Glance

As our Breakfast Chef, you are the morning engine of the hotel. You will take absolute ownership of the breakfast service, delivering high volume, high quality food that sets our guests up for the day. While the rest of the world is sleeping, you are prepping the kitchen, firing up the ovens, and making sure every single plate leaving the pass meets our exact standards for quality, temperature, and presentation.

Previous kitchen experience is essential, but your attitude and early morning energy matter much more to us. As our Breakfast Chef, you own the morning. We trust you to handle:

• The Early Shift: Getting your afternoons back. This is a 40 hour contract. Monday to Friday you will work 5.30am to 2.00pm, and Saturday/Sunday you will work 6.30am to 3.00pm. (We are happy to look at these hours and discuss flexibility for the right candidate).
• The Breakfast Service: Operating a flawless section. You will manage the hot and cold buffet, cook eggs to order with absolute precision, and ensure the food looks fresh and fully stocked no matter how busy the dining room gets.
• The Standards: Driving an obsession with food safety. You will ensure morning deliveries are temperature checked, dishes are cooked to strict specifications, and strict HACCP and EHO directives are met without compromise.
• The Handover: Setting up the day team. Once breakfast is closed, you will assist with lunch prep, manage your stock levels, and ensure you hand over a spotless, fully prepped section to the day brigade.
