About the Role
Sales Assistant – Temporary contract at Smyths Toys Superstores. Pay is £12.90 per hour for staff over 21 and £11.00 per hour for staff under 21. The role is full‑time, 7 days a week, with flexible scheduling including weekends.
Responsibilities- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Ascertain customer needs and wants.
- Work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team.
- Keep the store clean and tidy.
- Pack shelves and merchandise.
- Work the delivery and complete price changes.
- Operate the tills.
- Learn about and stay up‑to‑date with product range to assist customers.
- Maintain store presentation and fulfil daily targets.
- Be flexible to work all days of the week, including weekends.
Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:
- Outdoor/Bikes
- Nursery
- Software & Gaming
- Backdoor/Warehouse
