We're recruiting on behalf of a global leader in speciality feed ingredients, supplying technically differentiated nutritional products into the ruminant and monogastric sector.
This is a technically led commercial role working closely with compound feed manufacturers across the UK. It's a brilliant opportunity for someone with a strong grounding in animal nutrition who wants broader commercial responsibility without moving away from the technical detail.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of key customer relationships within the UK feed manufacturing sector, ensuring customers receive the right commercial support and technical product guidance on an established range of speciality feed ingredients used in ruminant and monogastric nutrition.
The role includes:
- Management of established key accounts
- Commercial growth within existing customer relationships
- Targeted business development across the compound feed sector
- Technical support and product positioning at customer level
- Building relationships with feed manufacturers and industry nutritionists
- Input into demand forecasting and supply chain planning
- Frequent travel across the UK will be required
- BSc or MSc in Animal Science or Ruminant Nutrition (or similar)
- Minimum 5 years’ commercial experience (ideally within speciality ingredient sales)
- Strong technical understanding of ruminant and monogastric nutrition
- Proactive, relationship-driven and comfortable working independently
- Base salary up to £70K DOE
