This role will report to the Sales Director Indirect Markets EMEA. The individual will be responsible for building and managing relationships with Bioventus' channel partners in the region. They will be responsible for achieving predefined sales quotas across the region and by country. They will also expand Bioventus' portfolio geographically within the assigned region. Additionally, the Sales Manager, in cooperation with channel partners and, when required by the business, will act as trainer and product specialist in the field.
This position requires allocating at least 60% of time for traveling.
- Negotiate and agree on yearly purchasing quotas with channel partners and achieve quarterly and yearly sales results.
- Build and sustain healthy business relationships with Bioventus channel partners and lead them to achieve yearly quotas.
- Identify, analyze and evaluate market opportunities and translate them into executable actions in cooperation with the team.
- Collaborate with channel partners and Bioventus’ team to develop and execute marketing and medical education activities to generate additional revenue.
- Attend local, regional exhibitions and scientific congresses with Bioventus’ channel partners.
- Prepare quarterly regional overview and next quarter’s business outlook.
- Conduct business in compliance with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to the role.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BS or BA in science or another clinical study area. MBA is preferred.
- Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in channel partner management within the medical device sector across multiple countries.
- Results-oriented, self-driven and self-motivated.
- Able to work independently.
