AG is recruiting a Specification Consultant for Scotland

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in specification roles within hard landscaping or building products.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Technical competence and commercial awareness.

• Willingness on occasion to travel with some overnight stays required.

• A positive attitude and confidence to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote AG’s paving and landscaping products to architects and specifiers.

• Deliver CPD presentations and technical sessions to groups and individuals.

• Plan and manage client meetings and professional development activities.

• Use CRM to manage contacts and track specification growth.

• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

• Provide feedback to inform new product development.

• Support clients and sales teams with technical advice on-site.

• Advocate for AG’s culture and values in all interactions.

Renowned and respected designer, developer, manufacturer and distributor of best in class walling, paving and facing brick.

• Good geographical knowledge of the region.
• 5 GCSE’s including English & Math’s grade A-C.
• Computer literate.
• Driving Licence
• Previous experience in a specification role involving hard landscaping and building product specification.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to recognise commercial opportunities and develop new business

• A-Levels / Degree Qualification
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Experience of SuDS
• Experience of RIBA Stages
• Understanding of BS
