Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a high-impact Sales Executive who challenges conventional thinking, creates opportunities where others see obstacles, and drives profitable growth through customer transformation. This is not an order‑taking or relationship‑maintenance role. We are looking for a commercial leader who can teach customers something new about their business, challenge existing assumptions, and position innovative solutions that create measurable competitive advantage.

The ideal candidate combines strategic curiosity, commercial discipline, and the confidence to engage executive stakeholders in meaningful business conversations. They are energised by uncovering unmet customer needs, shaping demand, and leading customers toward solutions they may not yet realise they require.

This individual must be comfortable travelling (50% of the time) and operating in ambiguity, challenging internal and external stakeholders, and driving change within complex organisations. Success will come from the ability to create demand, influence decision‑making, and accelerate adoption of advanced materials and technologies across key growth markets.

What will you be doing?

Create Demand, Not Just Respond to It

  • Identify unmet customer needs, emerging market trends, and disruptive opportunities before competitors.
  • Lead insight‑based sales conversations that challenge customer assumptions and reframe business problems.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on creating new revenue streams and market opportunities.
  • Build executive‑level relationships that influence customer investment decisions and technology roadmaps.

Drive Strategic Growth

  • Aggressively pursue and convert new business opportunities within target markets.
  • Expand share of wallet by identifying applications, programs, and opportunities beyond the customer’s current scope.
  • Drive specification and design‑in activity with OEMs, Tier suppliers, converters, and manufacturing partners.
  • Lead growth initiatives that deliver profitable revenue expansion and long‑term strategic positioning.
  • Own the commercial strategy for assigned accounts and territories.
  • Challenge pricing pressures through value‑based selling rather than discounting.
  • Lead complex negotiations and commercial discussions with senior customer stakeholders.
