Software Sales Executive

The Role

We are looking for a Software Sales Executive to help grow adoption of our Salus Suite software.

This is a full-cycle sales role. You will generate leads, run software demonstrations, and work with prospects through to closing the sale before handing over to our Customer Success team for onboarding.

• Identifying and researching potential customers in target industries
• Reaching out to prospects via phone, email, and Linked In
• Running targeted outreach campaigns using tools such as Mailchimp
• Working with the team to prioritise key sectors and accounts

• Scheduling and delivering software demonstrations to prospective customers
• Clearly explaining how the Salus Suite helps organisations manage safety and risk
• Understanding prospect needs and positioning the right solution

• Managing prospects through the full sales process from first contact to closed deal
• Maintaining an organised pipeline within Hub Spot CRM
• Following up with prospects and moving opportunities forward

• Helping refine outreach messaging and sales playbooks
• Identifyingwhat works and sharing insights with the wider team

Experience in some of the following areas would be helpful, but attitude and willingness to learn matter most.

• Sales or business development experience (software sales experience is a plus)
• Experience generating leads through phone, email, or Linked In outreach
• Experience delivering product demos or presentations
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Hub Spot
• Experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
• Comfortable learning new software products quickly

We develop software and training used by organisations around the world to manage major accident risk. Our Salus Suite software is used by more than 80 companies across 24 countries, supporting industries such as energy, utilities,miningand infrastructure.

We are a small but ambitious team aiming to grow significantly over the next five years, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

• Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience, plus commission on closed sales
• Hours: Full-time (we would consider part-time)
