Job Description

We are recruiting HGV/LCV Technicians to join our busy team at our Aberdeen depot. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime available on Saturdays.

The ideal candidates will have experience within a franchised dealership or fleet workshop. You will work within a busy service department to ensure smooth operations and meet targets. Effective teamwork, proactivity, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience as a HGV/LCV Technician. Your role will focus on maintaining high productivity, quality workmanship, and attention to detail to sustain customer confidence.

• Diagnose faults and repair Mercedes Benz trucks:
  Actros, Atego, Antos, Fuso.
• Service vehicles according to manufacturer schedules.
• Diagnose and repair faults using Star technology and workshop information systems.
• Fit accessories to vehicles.
• Perform final inspections and function tests as required.
• Attend vehicle breakdowns and perform roadside repairs, following safety guidelines.
• Identify warranty items and label parts correctly.
• Order parts from the parts department and complete paperwork accurately.
• Support trainees and apprentices’ development.
• Maintain workshop facilities, equipment, and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £48,000.00-£54,000.00 per year

Experience: 3 years as LCV or HGV Technician (preferred)

Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
