Electrical Technician

£40,000 - £47,000 + overtime + benefits

Are you a Time-Served Electrical Technician who loves hands‑on build work and tidy, accurate wiring? Join a leading engineering manufacturer delivering bespoke machinery and industrial control systems from small motor‑starter panels to large, multi‑million‑pound equipment for global clients.

Aspion Search is partnering with a well‑established engineering manufacturer to hire an Electrical Technician with strong panel‑building experience.

Role of the Electrical Technician
  • Build, install, and commission low‑voltage control panels and associated systems
  • Final test, service, and maintain electrical systems
  • Read / interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Route, terminate, and label wiring neatly and accurately
  • Support basic mechanical assembly when needed
  • Occasional travel to customer sites for installs / commissioning
  • Work to QHSE standards and internal procedures
About the Electrical Technician
  • Time‑served Electrical Technician / Electrician (recognised apprenticeship)
  • Proven panel build and control system installation experience
  • Familiar with motor control systems, PLCs, and automation equipment
  • Excellent cable management (crimping, soldering, routing) and attention to detail
  • Confident reading technical drawings; strong problem‑solving skills
  • Positive team player with a proactive work ethic
