CAMHS Nurse - Band 6
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
Location: Links Unit, City Hospital, Aberdeen
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic RMN/RNLD/RNCYP qualified Nurse to join our inclusive, values‑based multidisciplinary team. The team includes nurses, clinicians, psychotherapists, psychologists, play therapists, allied health professionals, psychiatrists, and support staff, and works in a patient‑centred culture that values, enables and develops staff.
Responsibilities- Hold clinical responsibility for your own caseload within the CAMHS delivery model, Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA).
- Provide care across the core CAMHS Service, Enhanced Care Team, and Intellectual Disabilities Team.
- Work effectively with children, young people, families, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Adapt to changing service needs and demonstrate flexibility.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in the dynamic monthly CPD programme.
- Receive tailored supportive line management and multidisciplinary supervision.
- Registered as RMN, RNLD, or RNCYP.
- Experience in CAMHS is valuable but not essential; a full training and supervision package is provided.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to service changes.
