Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Aberdeen
are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.

Our Aberdeen Housing Support service offers assistance to those who have experienced, or are at risk of, homelessness. The support that we provide is always person-centred: involving service users at every stage of the design and implementation of their support plans.

Our Housing Firstteam provides support based on 7 core principles, designed to ensure that people who have experienced homelessness have access to a stable home and access to person-centred support for as long as they need it. By adhering to those principles we believe we deliver effective and innovative supports to some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

Our Outreach Housing Supportteamsworksacross localities to enable people tomaintainindependent tenancy sustainment, reconnect with their local communities andassistthem to buildresilience to prevent repeat homelessness. We respond to the individual needs of those who are homeless or at the risk of becoming homeless, including those who are rough sleeping, or are in temporary or permanent accommodation.

Thisservicesupports people who may have multiple needs whichcouldbe related tovarious issues includingmental health, alcohol and other drug use, offending,finance and employment.

As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes.

Turning Point Scotland offers a Salary Matching within the pay points of the role and based on experience.

Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.
