A premier specialist care provider is seeking dedicated Childcare Specialists to support children and young adults with complex emotional, social, and behavioral needs across our community residential homes and specialist secure care unit.
What We Offer Competitive Pay: £14.08 - £22.00 per hour, plus enhancements and sleepover pay. Funded
Qualifications:
Full backing to achieve required SSSC qualifications (SVQ Level 3/4). Specialist Training:
Free pathways in therapeutic care, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed practice. Flexible Working:
Full-time, part-time, and night-rotation schedules. Comprehensive Benefits:

Build trusting, trauma-informed relationships and mentor essential daily life skills. Manage complex behaviors using specialized verbal de-escalation and therapeutic safety techniques. Serve as a keyworker, collaborating with social workers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain clear, confidential records in line with Care Inspectorate and SSSC standards.
Facilitate safe community access and outings across Angus and Aberdeenshire. Requirements
Experience:
Background in residential care, social care, youth work, or mental health is desirable. Registration: SSSC registered or committed to registering within required time frames. Licence:
Valid UK Driving Licence essential. Attributes:
