TC- Transport Driver

General Service / Clinical Waste Driver – Transport Department, NHS Grampian

The position involves delivery/pick up of stores and laundry, and may also include the pickup of clinical waste on a day‑to‑day basis from numerous collection points. The role requires a full driving licence for Cat C1 (Cat C desirable). Driving experience preferred. No DR10. The driver must work to a high standard unsupervised, be prepared for manual handling and adhere to health and safety standards.

Job duties include manual lifting, loading and unloading of cages, waste bags and containers daily, transporting the load to appropriate drop‑off/pick‑up points, stocking vehicle for daily runs, cleaning and maintaining vehicles, performing daily checks, completing required paperwork, and maintaining a punctual, reliable, polite, well‑presented, and communicative attitude face‑to‑face.
