TEXO Recruitment is delighted to be supporting our client in the recruitment of a Material Coordinator to join their operations team in Aberdeen.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within warehouse operations and logistics. Working as part of a busy team, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, movement, and control of materials while supporting day-to-day warehouse activities. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates with transferable experience or those looking to progress within the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Receive incoming goods and verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Inspect deliveries for quantity, quality, specifications, and certification requirements.
- Record and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
- Process goods receipts within the company's inventory management system.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Allocate and organise stock within designated storage locations.
- Label, store, and maintain warehouse materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with equipment preparation, project kitting, and maintenance of test fixtures.
- Support shipping and logistics activities for both domestic and international consignments.
- Carry out forklift operations where required (training provided if necessary).
- Assist with the safe handling and shipment of hazardous materials where appropriately trained.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company QHSE procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Previous experience within warehouse, logistics, operations, stores, administration, customer service, or a similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience using inventory management or ERP systems (such as SAP) would be beneficial.
- Forklift experience is desirable, although full training can be provided.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- No formal qualifications are required as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
