Key Deliverables
- Receive, inspect, identify and safely store rope access equipment and associated accessories.
- Issue and receive rope access equipment to and from operational personnel, maintaining full traceability.
- Maintain accurate equipment inspection records, certification status and asset history.
- Segregate, quarantine and report defective, damaged or out-of-certification equipment.
- Coordinate periodic inspections, servicing and recertification requirements in line with company procedures and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels within inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts, audits and inventory reconciliations.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and raise replenishment requests to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Manage consumable stock including helmets, harnesses, lanyards, ropes, connectors, rescue equipment and PPE.
- Ensure equipment storage conditions comply with manufacturer recommendations and company procedures.
- Support compliance with IRATA, LOLER, PUWER and company quality and safety requirements.
- Participate in quality, safety and compliance audits as required.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within stores, inspection and storage areas.
- Prepare rope access equipment for project mobilisations and demobilisations.
- Coordinate the transport and shipment of equipment to operational sites.
- Verify equipment documentation, certification packs and inspection records accompany all mobilisations.
- Liaise effectively with Rope Access Supervisors, Technicians, Operations and Logistics teams to support project delivery.
- Maintain both electronic and manual equipment records and documentation.
- Produce stock, equipment utilisation and certification reports as required.
- Record equipment damage, losses and repair requirements, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Support investigations relating to equipment failures, non-conformances or asset discrepancies.
- Promote a positive safety culture and contribute to the continual improvement of stores and equipment management processes.
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, logistics or equipment coordination role.
- Experience handling PPE, lifting equipment or inspection-controlled assets is desirable.
- Understanding of rope access equipment and associated industry standards is advantageous.
- Experience using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Safety-focused approach with a commitment to quality and compliance.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- PPE Inspection qualification.
- Forklift Licence.
- Knowledge of IRATA, LOLER and PUWER requirements.
- Experience supporting operational or industrial environments.
