We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Aberdeen.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual who holds a valid, up-to-date Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and is looking for a role that offers stability, variety and the potential to secure a permanent position.

The successful candidate will initially join on a temporary basis, with a genuine opportunity to move into a permanent role following a successful probationary period.

As an FLT Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently to move stock throughout the warehouse
• Loading and unloading deliveries using FLT equipment
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Receiving, checking and booking in incoming stock
• Organising stock within the warehouse and ensuring correct storage procedures are followed
• Assisting with stock control and inventory accuracy
• Supporting garment decoration processes, including heat sealing where required
• Carrying out manual handling duties in line with health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets
• Undertaking general warehouse duties and providing support across departments when required

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A valid, current FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach licence depending on experience)
• Previous warehouse experience within a busy operational environment
• Experience operating forklift trucks safely and confidently
• A strong understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• The ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role, including manual handling

While not essential, the following experience would be advantageous:

• Previous experience within a distribution, logistics or stock management environment
• Experience with stock control systems or handheld scanners
• Garment decoration or heat sealing experience
