Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CCU Nights position requiring a WA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of critical care experience.

• Active WA RN license (Standard or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 3 years critical care experience in a hospital setting
• Compact license holders must verify suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify
• Proof of right to work in the United States required

• Critical Care Unit (CCU/ICU) setting within a hospital
• 13-week night shift assignment,
• Provide direct, individualized nursing care based on scientific nursing principles to critically ill patients
• Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions according to policy
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, diet, medication, and rehabilitation
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, cardiac rhythms, and specialized life support equipment
• Respond to life-saving situations and initiate corrective action based on nursing protocols
• Document all care information accurately and in a timely manner
