Learning Coordinator Employability Service

We seek a part-time (21 hours per week) Learning Coordinator to deliver Lead's Aberdeenshire Employability Service. This is a learning service for disabled people and carers aged 16 to 67 who experience barriers to work and education.

The successful applicant will be:
Engaging and supporting unpaid carers to overcome barriers and embark on personalised learning journeys, building skills and confidence with using digital and online services to achieve their personal aims and ambitions. Being an active part of the Lead Scotland team in Aberdeenshire. Working from your home base in Aberdeenshire, access to transport is essential to travel to homes and communities across this rural area.

It involves regulated work for which a satisfactory PVG will be required.

You will be passionate about the transformative power of adult learning, have excellent communication skills, and a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving. You will have great organisational skills and previous experience of supporting disabled people experiencing a range of barriers, of working one-to-one with learners, and of designing and delivering learning programmes. You will hold an Assessors Award or be willing to work towards this.
