KM- Community Mental Health Nurse - Aries

An exciting career development opportunity has arisen within the Aberdeenshire Integrated Drug & Alcohol Service (DAS) for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our ARIES Outreach Team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering both pharmacological and psychological, recovery-focused interventions to individuals affected by drug and alcohol use who may be experiencing significant vulnerabilities and are at increased risk of substance-related harm. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide person-centred care and support individuals throughout their recovery journey.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in partnership with a wide range of agencies and service providers across Aberdeenshire to deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented community drug and alcohol treatment services. The post holder will undertake outreach work, carrying out assessments and delivering interventions to service users in a variety of community settings throughout Aberdeenshire.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills, who is committed to delivering a high standard of care and improving outcomes for people experiencing substance use issues. Experience of working within substance use services, mental health, community nursing, or related fields would be advantageous.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this post.
