Customer Delivery Driver​/Picker

Overview

This role is a 24‑hour per week position, working any 3 days within a 6‑day period (including bank holidays) on a 3‑month fixed‑term contract. You will deliver frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals to customers’ homes, working in a cold store at
-20ºC. The company provides protective clothing and breaks to warm up.

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Pick orders within the cold store.
• Use the company app to update delivery records.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Conduct pre‑shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Assist the office and picking teams when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Support a team member when absent or on holiday.
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet drops and visits to sheltered housing.

• Experience with in a customer‑service‑based role.
• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 2 years.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

• Experience in a multi‑drop delivery role.
• Experience in a care‑based role.
• Warehouse experience.
• Health & Safety awareness.

• Friendly, approachable and reliable.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Good attendance and timekeeping.

All offers of employment are subject to a driving assessment, driving licence checks and a basic DBS check. As the role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a basic DBS Disclosure.
