Salary: £15,925 per annum

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our Maintenance team at Belwade Farm in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, one of our specialist rescue and rehoming centres where rescued horses begin their journey to a brighter future – receiving the expert, compassionate care they need to heal and thrive.

About the role

In this role, you will work alongside our Maintenance Supervisor and play a key part in the effective and efficient maintenance of the farmland, buildings, grassland and field margins, helping to ensure a safe and well-kept environment for our horses and visitors. This is a part-time permanent position working 24 hours per week on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. We can be flexible with these days for the right candidate.

About you

You'll have experience in general maintenance tasks such as fencing, hedge trimming, fertilising and tractor driving (training is available where required). Strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team is essential. A flexible approach to work, a full UK driving licence and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions is key.
