The Depot Operations Supervisor reports to the Retail Sales & Operations Manager (RSOM) who has overall responsibility for the depot and service across customer services, delivery fleet and cold store warehouse.

This 40 hour per week role works any 5 of 6 days (closed Sundays).

• Drive the consistent delivery of established processes and operational standards.
• Track the team’s performance against daily, weekly and monthly targets.
• Develop the operational performance of the depot and the skills of your team.
• Manage health & safety, stock management, local delivery fleet management and facilities maintenance.
• Get involved in day‑to‑day tasks including deliveries – a full UK driving licence is essential.

• Experience in a supervisory role – leading and motivating a team to achieve shared objectives.
• Strong communication and customer service ethos.
• Confidence using IT systems and influencing KPIs.
• Problem solving skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence (at least 2 years). Driving assessment, licence checks and basic DBS checks apply.

• Experience leading a team within retail, wholesale, customer service or operational/logistics environment.
• Knowledge of commercial/P&L/budget management.
• Health & safety and food safety training.
• Coaching skills and experience developing a team.
• Experience implementing operational policies and processes.

• Competitive hourly rate £14.00 per hour (£14.50 per hour from 1 Jan 2026).
