An outstanding primary school in the Abergavenny area is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time, supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, motivated, and experienced in this specialist field.

The successful candidate will possess:

Level 2 or 3 qualification and/or a minimum of six months’ experience within an educational setting
A calm, patient and compassionate demeanour
Excellent communication skills
A sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies
Experience supporting students on a one-to-one and small group basis
All successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide a minimum of two professional references.
