Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools, nursery settings and Reception classes throughout the NP7 area.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in childcare, nurseries, preschools, playgroups, holiday clubs, coaching, care work, youth work, or school settings who are passionate about supporting young children's development and education.

The Role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing during the crucial early stages of their education.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils within Nursery and Reception classes
Assisting with engaging EYFS activities and learning through play
Encouraging communication, language and social development
Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils, including those with ALN/SEN
Supporting emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence
Assisting with classroom routines and personal care where required
Helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to meet individual pupil needs
Supporting indoor and outdoor learning activities
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Experience working with children or young people in any capacity
A passion for supporting children's learning and development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, nurturing and positive approach
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing
Desirable:
Experience in a nursery, preschool, childcare or school setting
Knowledge of EYFS principles and child development
Experience supporting children with ALN/SEN
CACHE Level 2/3, Childcare, Health & Social Care or similar qualification
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
