Maintenance Engineer; Electrical​/Double

Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 + Overtime OTE 63k + Double Days + Company Bonus.

Founded nearly 70 years ago, this materials processing company is one of the largest in the UK within its sector, boasting a turnover of £120 million. With a recent investment of £40 million into new machinery, it aims to continue growing on its 40‑acre site for years to come.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will work double days in a busy industrial environment, performing a mix of planned and reactive maintenance on state‑of‑the‑art machinery. You will fault find on PLCs, work with 3‑phase machinery, lasers, hydraulics and drives, and help the company achieve its growth targets.

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Fault find and troubleshoot PLCs.
• Work on 3‑phase motors, drives, sensors and PLCs.
• Assist in training through specific courses as needed.
• Work Monday‑Friday, 5:30am‑2pm, then 1:30am‑10pm, rotating weekly.
• Receive overtime pay at 1.5× normal rate;
  Sundays at 2×.

• Electrical Maintenance Engineer with industrial, manufacturing, forces, plant or similar background.
• Experience in PLC fault finding.
• Ability to work double‑days in a technically challenging environment.
