Cleaner - Part Time

Compensation: £13.45 / hour

Priory Hospital Llanarth Court is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team. This is a part time role of 30 hours a week.

We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Working hours:

Working hours are from 6am - 14:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Priory Hospital Llanarth Court, located in the rural area of Usk, Monmouthshire, offers secure services for adult males and females. We provide a specialist assessment and treatment service for people with mental health conditions who present with a variety of behaviours that challenge.

What you’ll be doing
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
  • Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
  • Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
  • Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
  • Supporting colleagues where required
What you'll bring to the role

Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.

  • Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
