Salary: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holidays)

• Provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to discuss their feelings and experiences.
• Offer reassurance, active listening, and encouragement to promote self-esteem and confidence.
• Support clients in managing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, or mood instability.
• Assist with daily tasks including cooking, shopping, attending appointments, and medication routines.
• Help clients manage finances, benefits, and bills effectively.
• Encourage healthy routines like sleep hygiene, diet, and exercise.
• Work with mental health professionals to implement individual recovery plans.
• Support clients in setting and achieving personal goals, such as returning to education or employment.
• Monitor mental health status and report changes to healthcare professionals.
• Promote social inclusion by encouraging engagement in community activities and rebuilding social connections.
• Facilitate access to education, volunteering, or employment opportunities.
• Identify early signs of deterioration or relapse and respond promptly to prevent crises.
• Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of clients and others.

• At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting.
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
• Possess a full UK driving licence (preferred).
• Have the right to work in the UK.
