** Batching Plant Operative
** to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in producing high‐quality concrete and mortar, maintaining an excellent site environment, and delivering great customer service.  Currently operating as a
** one-person site**, this role is perfect for someone confident working independently, organised, and ready to take pride in keeping the plant running efficiently and safely.
** What You’ll Be Doing
** As our Batching Plant Operative, you will:
** Production & Customer Service
*** Work closely with the Order Office, plant team, and customers to ensure all concrete/mortar is produced to exact requirements.
* Deliver excellent service and maintain strong communication across the site.
** Plant Operation & Maintenance
*** Operate the batching plant and Front-End Loader (FEL) safely and effectively.
* Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of all plant mechanisms, buildings, equipment, and facilities.
* Ensure stock levels are maintained through daily visual checks and weekly stock assessments.
** Safety & Compliance
*** Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.
* Ensure all staff, contractors, and visitors comply with site safety rules.
* Follow all health, safety, environmental, and quality policies, including proper waste, water, and dust management.
* Report any defects, hazards, or issues that may impact safety, quality, or operational performance.
** Environmental & Administrative Responsibilities
*** Comply with all environmental procedures and company policies.
* Support fraud prevention and adhere to Group and Regional administrative guidelines.
