Education Supply Pool is a PAYE employer looking for a Secondary School Teacher to work in comprehensive schools in Abertillery and surrounding areas. We are seeking a candidate passionate about working with young people and able to step up to this challenging role with confidence.

Having a valid UK Driving Licence increases work opportunities.

• Minimum pay rate of at least M1 (currently £173.00 per day on approval to the new framework)
• A variety of daily, short‑term and long‑term positions to suit your needs
• A team with over twenty years experience in both local and national education agencies
• A dedicated account manager with a background in teaching
• £125 recommend a friend scheme (T&C's apply)
• Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool and not an umbrella company

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE or a BA in Education
• Experience of teaching within the UK
• Correct Education and Training qualifications
• Ability to set high standards
• Ability to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline
• Plan innovative and creative lessons
• Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum

All candidates must undergo a vetting process that includes obtaining two satisfactory relevant references and an enhanced DBS check. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
