Our client, a reputable educational institution in Abertillery, Gwent, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Cover Supervisor (Secondary) to join their dynamic team. As a Full-time Cover Supervisor (Secondary), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of learning when teachers are absent or attending training sessions. You will be responsible for effectively managing the classroom, maintaining discipline, and supporting students in their studies.

Your primary focus will be to deliver engaging and structured lessons, while adhering to the school's curriculum and policies. You will also be expected to collaborate with the teaching staff, providing feedback and updates on student progress, and work closely with the school's leadership team to ensure a consistent and cohesive learning environment for all students.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a cover supervisor or similar role in a secondary school setting
• Excellent knowledge of the secondary school curriculum and assessment methods
• Proven ability to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to multitask effectively
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Proficient in the use of technology and digital resources to enhance learning experiences

Compensation for this position is competitive, with a daily rate of £105. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time contract, providing stability and the opportunity for professional development within our client's organization.
