As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects
• Manage behaviour and maintain a focused, positive classroom environment
• Support students to stay engaged and complete their work
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Gain exposure across different departments and year groups

• Become a familiar face within one school community
• Build strong relationships and classroom presence
• Gain consistency and routine in your working week
• Excellent stepping stone into teaching, pastoral, or permanent school roles

• Work across a range of Blaenau Gwent schools – no two days are the same
• Build confidence quickly in behaviour management and adaptability
• Experience different school environments before committing long‑term
• Ideal if you want flexibility around other commitments

• Graduates considering a career in teaching
• Sports coaches, youth workers, or tutors with behaviour experience
• Teaching Assistants looking to step up into classroom leadership
• Confident, adaptable individuals who enjoy working with young people

• Strong communication skills and confidence leading a class
• Calm, professional approach to behaviour management
• A proactive, can‑do attitude
• Experience working with young people (desirable)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
