ALN Teaching Assistant

Competitive daily rates from £90 per day (dependent on experience).

• Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Encourage confidence, independence and engagement with learning.
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals to support individual learning plans.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.

• Experience working with children or young people is essential.
• Experience supporting ALN, SEN or SEMH is desirable but not essential.
• Patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Welsh-speaking skills are desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
