We are seeking a dedicated Senior Dental Officer with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our team and provide Special Care Dentistry services in a beautiful rural location in Ceredigion, West Wales.

You will provide a range of dental services in accordance with approved Health board plans and policies. You will be required to assist with the training and development of community dentists, dentists with enhanced skills in special care dentistry, and professions complimentary to dentistry.

The Hywel Dda Community Dental Service (CDS) is dedicated to providing dental care for vulnerable adults and children who may have difficulties in seeking and receiving dental treatment throughout Ceredigion. Our clinics are different from high street dental practices; we see patients on a referral basis only, ensuring they receive treatment from the most appropriately trained member of the team and in the best clinic to suit their needs.

The Senior Dental Officer will be supported by the Clinical Lead and the Community Team.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.

We work in partnership with local authorities, public, private and third sector colleagues, including volunteers.
