The successful candidate will contribute to delivering a high-quality palliative care service across both hospital and community settings, supporting the prevention, diagnosis and management of illness while ensuring patients and their families receive compassionate, patient-centred care.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with consultants, nursing staff and allied health professionals. The role includes participation in a 24-hour rota, with consultant support available on-site during working hours and off-site out of hours.

• Deliver a comprehensive palliative care service across hospital and community settings.
• Undertake acute patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment in palliative care.
• Participate in a 24-hour emergency/on-call rota, supporting service delivery in and out of hours.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.

We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services.
