About the role:
We are looking for an excellent specialist teacher to teach and lead in the specialist resource centre (SRC) at Llwyn yr Eos Primary School, Aberystwyth, beginning at the start of September 2026 or the earliest possible date thereafter. The role requires fluency in both Welsh and English.
- Teach and lead lessons in the specialist resource centre for foundation phase pupils with specific speech and language difficulties.
- Develop individually tailored programmes and differentiate learning activities to meet each pupil’s needs.
- Support pupils’ integration into mainstream education where appropriate.
- Work under the direction of the Head Teacher and the ALNC team.
- Build and maintain positive, inspiring relationships with pupils.
- Suitable experience and understanding of speech and language difficulties in young learners.
- Fluency in Welsh and English.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
- Willingness to work a 16.3 hour per week schedule as a permanent role.
