Hyfforddiant Ceredigion Training (HCT) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Training Advisor - Engagement to join our Vocational Learning and Skills team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support learners from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them build confidence, gain valuable skills, and progress into further training, apprenticeships or sustainable employment.
As a Training Advisor, you will design and deliver engaging learning programmes, provide guidance and mentoring, and work closely with employers, schools and partner agencies to create positive outcomes for learners.
About the RoleYou will:
- Deliver high-quality Engagement training programmes to learners at various levels.
- Assess learner needs and develop personalised learning and progression plans.
- Support individuals to overcome barriers to learning, training and employment.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback to encourage learner development.
- Build positive relationships with employers and identify work placement and employment opportunities.
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Develop engaging learning resources and ensure training materials remain current and relevant.
- Represent the Engagement programme at meetings, events and promotional activities.
- Participate in learner recruitment, interviews, open days and parents' evenings.
- Contribute to quality assurance, verification activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Has experience of supporting learners, trainees, jobseekers or young people in a training, education, employability or community setting.
- Can deliver engaging learning opportunities that inspire participation and achievement.
- Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Is able to build effective relationships with learners, employers and partner organisations.
- Demonstrates a flexible, proactive and learner-centred approach.
- Is committed to equality, inclusion and safeguarding.
- Can work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Has strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
