* MARKETING OFFICER (TEMPORARY – MATERNITY COVER)*
* Make a real difference to rural Wales—help connect farmers, and land managers with the support they need through creative, targeted marketing campaigns.
Your role
You will support the Head of Communications and Marketing Manager to deliver day-to-day marketing and communications activity across the programme. You’ll help plan, deliver and evaluate campaigns, creating engaging content across digital, print and media channels.
Working closely with colleagues, partners and suppliers, you’ll ensure communications are timely, consistent and of a high standard throughout.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, knowledgeable and supportive Farming Connect team, working alongside programme specialists and digital colleagues who are passionate about improving skills, innovation and sustainability in Welsh agriculture.
Together, the team delivers trusted, practical support to the rural sector, making this a rewarding role with clear purpose and influence.
Your impact
A Farming Connect Marketing Officer plays a key role in strengthening engagement between the agricultural sector and advisory services by effectively promoting programmes, events, and resources available to farmers.
Through targeted campaigns, digital content, and stakeholder collaboration, they help raise awareness, increase participation in knowledge transfer activities, and support the adoption of best practices across the industry.
Your work ultimately contributes to improving farm productivity, business resilience, and sustainability, while ensuring that vital information reaches rural communities in a clear, accessible, and impactful way.

Farming Connect- At the point of advertising this role, the above programme and its roles are funded externally until 31/03/2029, with a possibility of extension until 31/03/2031
