Project DescriptionThe projects operate in Aberystwyth working with individuals with a range of complex support needs. The service provides residential support with the aim of meeting individuals’ needs, which promote independence and lead to a sustainable move‑on.
Purpose of RoleYou will coordinate and provide support that enables and empowers people to address housing and personal difficulties. Working with residents experiencing homelessness you will help them to build their confidence and improve their ability to maintain current or future accommodation.
The support will not create or increase dependence. It will ‘do with’ rather than ‘do for.’ Your support will help people improve their control, understanding and involvement in dealing with the issues that affect them, to achieve their goals.
You will also assist with the housing management needs of the project to deliver a safe, secure and effective service.
