Job Description
We have opportunities in Ceredigion for a Senior Practitioner to work with older adults, adults with physical disabilities and psychiatry of old age, in the arena of those who require part 3 and 4 SSWBA care and support plans, for both adults and their carers.
The Authority is committed to a strengths‑based approach, using Signs of Safety and is in the process of transformation to a through‑age and whole family model, which offers greater flexibility to develop plans and services to meet needs and has resulted in some exciting opportunities for collaborative working between departments within the authority, as well as with our partner agencies.
There will also be opportunities to specialise in the area of your choice.
Qualifications- Qualified social worker
- Degree of fluency in Welsh language (support to reach the desired standard within two years of appointment)
- Salary subject to the pending 2026/2027 national pay award
- Market supplement payment of £200 per month
- Potential expense relief up to £8,000 to cover relocation costs to Ceredigion
- Hybrid working option subject to conditions
- Flexi‑time within a defined bandwidth Monday to Friday
