LocationProjects are located in the Continental United States. We provide relocation assistance or per diem/trips home for our projects.
Responsibilities- Provide oversight and direction to estimators and engineers in the development phase of a collaborative contract model.
- Participate in task force meetings with the designer and bring constructability to the project solution.
- Develop the logic behind the project schedule (sequencing works).
- Communicate and present details to executive management, permitting agencies, stakeholders, owners, etc.
- Analyze drawings and specifications to evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Review and assist with proposals, working with the estimating team to evaluate the best value for money/options.
- Support the selection of key subcontractors and trade partners; lead and guide construction efforts through responsible Superintendents, Field Engineers and Project Engineers.
- Demonstrate excellent collaborative behaviors in a multi‑stakeholder environment and foster a culture of innovation.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or related engineering discipline. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or other construction‑related technology with 10+ years of construction management experience, or 15+ years if no degree, and ability to develop and lead estimates and construction teams in self‑performed construction.
- Ability to generate conceptual estimates for the Advanced Technology Facilities market; experience with pre‑construction/ construction management activities for large‑scale facilities ($500 M+), such as data centers, hyperscale facilities, AI facilities, or semiconductor facilities.
- Ability to lead estimates and multiple teams.
- Strong work ethic, focus on safety and quality, and record of past jobs.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team‑building skills; broad knowledge of construction across all disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated leadership experience on complex construction projects.
- Work productively and meet deadlines.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others.
- Perform work safely and effectively, following oral and written instructions, warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines; work overtime and weekends as required.
