The right candidate will have a passion for client relationships, a strong foundation in tax and accounting, and an interest in helping business owners make smarter financial decisions through proactive tax and advisory work.

This is not a "production line" tax role - it's an opportunity to work directly with leadership and clients, learn the why behind tax planning, and develop as a trusted advisor in a growing firm.

• Prepare and/or review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Participate in tax planning, business advisory, and entity strategy discussions
• Assist clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting system setup as needed
• Research complex tax issues and communicate findings in clear, actionable terms
• Maintain organized work papers and documentation; review for accuracy before submission
• Communicate with clients to gather information, resolve questions, and provide proactive guidance
• (For experienced candidates) Review staff work, assist with workflow management, and support process improvement

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Working knowledge of tax preparation, accounting, and general ledger procedures
• Experience with Quick Books and common tax software preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team environment
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
