Natura Resources is seeking a Contract Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of the EPC agreement for the MSR-1 project. Embedded with the execution team at Abilene Christian University (ACU), this role ensures that contractual records, payments, and documentation are timely, traceable, and fully aligned with project execution and compliance needs.
The Contract Administrator plays a key role in maintaining discipline across invoicing, change management, and recordkeeping. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of contract workflows, payment processing, and EPC documentation standards.
Description:
The Contract Administrator is responsible for processing EPC invoices, tracking amendments and change orders, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support both financial integrity and compliance audits. This role ensures that all contract-related correspondence is organized, up to date, and aligned with internal controls and external requirements.
Working closely with the Project Manager, Project Controller, and Contract Engineer, the Contract Administrator will support audit readiness, help track execution against contractual terms, and contribute to a clear, traceable history of project performance.

Responsibilities Contract Administration and Payment Processing- Receive, review, and process T&M invoices submitted by the EPC contractor
- Verify invoice consistency with contract terms, rate schedules, and supporting documentation
- Maintain up-to-date records of approved payments, retention amounts, and financial correspondence
- Track contract amendments, change orders, and associated approvals
- Organize documentation required for compliance audits, tax credit support, and regulatory filings
- Maintain an accurate, accessible repository of executed contracts, schedules, and performance logs
- Coordinate with the Contract Engineer and Controller to ensure that technical and commercial change records are complete and properly logged
- Support the IRA Compliance Specialist by organizing wage, content, and training documentation from the EPC and subcontractors
- Help prepare documentation packages for financial audits, internal reviews, and IRS submissions
- Serve as a point of contact for EPC administrative staff and internal stakeholders on documentation-related issues
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of documentation for change orders, payments, and compliance reporting
- Support the Project Manager in preparing summaries, trackers, and contract-related updates for stewardship reviews
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration, project controls, or EPC documentation management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong familiarity with T&M contract execution, invoice workflows, and document control systems
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage large volumes of technical and contractual information
- Proficiency in working across finance, engineering, and project management functions
- Experience supporting complex or regulated capital projects in energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
- Familiarity with audit preparation and supporting compliance for incentives or public filings
- Background working in an embedded project environment with close contractor coordination
- Experience with digital contract management tools or ERP-integrated systems
- Contribute to the development and improvement of contract tracking systems, invoice logs, and audit support workflows.
- Participate in lessons learned and document control improvement initiatives.
- Support team readiness for third-party reviews and performance documentation.
- Desk-based work is the primary mode, with occasional travel to project sites or contractor offices.
- Must be capable of handling physical documentation and lifting administrative files (up to 20 lbs) when required.
