Summary

Natura Resources is seeking a Document Control Manager to join our team supporting the research and commercial development of liquid-fueled molten salt nuclear reactor technology. This is an ideal position for someone who excels at managing informational systems and wants to grow in cutting-edge technology.

The Document Control Manager will have complete authority and responsibility with a supporting staff to develop a systematic process of managing documents throughout their lifecycle, which includes creation, review, approval, updating, and archiving. It ensures that only the most current and accurate versions of documents are accessible, promoting consistency and compliance within Natura Resources. In this fast-paced industry the increased productivity, quality control, compliance, and security are paramount to our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify document types to leverage metadata and file storage naming conventions
  • Define quality requirements such as:
  • Review, approval and issuance
  • Revision and Version Control
  • Retrieval and use controlling access
  • Control log supporting audits internal and external
  • Archive and/or destruction of documents and records
  • Manage the change control process
  • Manage transmittals, correspondence logs, and document review workflows
  • Support regulatory and internal audit to assess continuous improvement of the document control process.
  • Ensure proper handling of sensitive and export-controlled information
  • Develop, train and assist team members with the document control system

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Management, Library Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Demonstrate ability to organize and manage many types of files (PDFs, drawings, reports, spreadsheets, etc.) for the purpose of controlling version release and business security
  • Experience scanning, filing, and preserving paper documents
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with coworkers across departments

Preferred (but not required)

  • 1–2 years of general office, administrative, records management, or document control experience in any industry
  • Previous exposure to sensitive or export-controlled information

This position requires access to information and systems controlled under 10 C.F.R. Part 810 (“Part 810”), the nuclear-related export control regime administered by the U.S. Department of Energy (“DOE”).
