Legal Operations Coordinator

Job Summary

The Legal Operations Coordinator (LOC) supports the legal department by managing day-to-day operations, implementing tools and processes, and providing administrative and project management support. The LOC streamlines workflows, maintains legal technology systems, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. The LOC reports to the Legal Services Manager and the General Counsel.

• Manage day‑to‑day legal operations, including scheduling and administrative tasks.
• Process, track, and reconcile legal services invoices and department expenses.
• Assist with department scheduling, expense reports, and other administrative tasks as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• 1-3 years in legal operations, administrative, finance, or project coordination.
• Experience in operations or law firm management, preferably in the healthcare industry is a plus but not required.
• Paralegal or Project Management experience is a plus.

• Highly proficient in business software (MS Office, Adobe, PowerPoint, Docu Sign, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of legal billing or finance practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, open to feedback.
• Highly organized, customer focused, innovative, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive independently in a fast‑paced, energetic environment and prioritize during high volume with judgment and problem solving.
• Additional specialized training may be required, which will be provided.
