Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
The Scheduler creates and maintains project schedules, ensuring alignment with GC timelines and project goals. They provide regular updates, manpower projections, and impact analyses while working closely with project teams to support progress tracking and client communication.
What You’ll Do
Analyze bid day schedules to gauge feasibility and potential impacts and possibly the preparation of a presentation schedule for interview.
Build a CPM logic schedule with input from Project Management & Supervision
Will use the GC (contract schedule) to establish baseline schedule
Ensure that the company activity logic ties to the GC schedule
PM/Supt to provide manhour breakdowns by task code
Scheduler to create activities, sequencing, and consolidate manhour data to establish resource loading

With input from the PM/Supt, provide periodic status updates (weekly/monthly/etc.)
Updates to include new percent completes
Note any logic changes (provide narrative)
Identify areas of impact
Identify areas of opportunity
Provide “look-ahead” schedules
Provide updated manpower projections
Provide “Planned vs. Earned” reports
Analyze GC’s schedule updates
Ensure that it is still aligned with the company schedule
Provide narrative to present to customer
Assist PM with impact studies as required
Make periodic jobsite visits if requested by PM/Supt
Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Excellent MS Office skills and ability/desire to learn new software system

Must be courteous, professional, diplomatic, and highly motivated
What You Bring To The Table
4-yr mechanical engineering or construction science degree (or commensurate levels of technical training and related construction experience)
0-2 years of construction and/or general business experience
Must obtain OSHA-30 certification within six (6) months from date of hire
