LINX is seeking a highly qualified Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a leader in data center construction and structured cabling, we prioritize safety and compliance in every project. The Safety Coordinator will ensure adherence to safety regulations, develop comprehensive safety plans, and foster a culture of workplace safety.

- Job Site Presence – Maintain a daily on-site presence during normal construction hours.
- Safety Program Management – Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs for data center construction.
- Safety Documentation – Create and manage Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Pre-Task Safety Analyses (PTSA).
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to OSHA and local safety regulations; conduct regular job site inspections.
- Incident Investigation – Investigate accidents, near-misses, and hazards; recommend corrective actions.
- Training & Compliance – Provide safety training and ensure workers meet required certifications.
- Communication & Reporting – Serve as the primary safety contact, report incidents, and maintain documentation.
- Collaboration – Work with project managers and crews to integrate safety into operations.
- Equipment Oversight – Monitor proper PPE usage and ensure safety equipment is maintained.
- Specialized Support (Preferred) – Assist with cabling tasks and provide safety insights for data center operations.
- 5-years of relevant safety experience in construction
- OSHA 30
- Can proficiently develop a JHA:
Job Hazard Analysis and PTSA:
Pre-Task Safety Analysis - Proven experience in on-the-job safety adherence and regulatory compliance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly structured with strong attention to detail.
- Coachable, takes direction well, and works effectively with others.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check & drug screen.
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- OSHA 510/500
- STSC and/or CHST
- NFPA 70E
- Fall Protection Competency
- Confined Space Competency
- Bilingual Advantage – Fluent in English & Spanish.
- Data Center Expertise – Experienced in Active Data Center Operations.
- Telecom & Cabling Skills – Practical experience in network cabling, termination, and closet builds.
- Construction Knowledge – Ability to read construction drawings and implement cabling pathways.
$35.00 - $45.00/hour
