We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee and support multiple industrial construction projects from planning through execution. The role requires a strong understanding of contract plans and specifications, field operations, project scheduling, cost forecasting, and team leadership.

Responsibilities- Contract Compliance & Field Oversight
- Develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
- Inspect field conditions to identify problems, inaccuracies, and potential cost‑saving measures.
- Take corrective actions as needed to resolve field issues.
- Review subordinates’ work for compliance with contract documents; address deficiencies and implement corrective measures.
- Project Scheduling & Coordination
- Develop and maintain the project master schedule using appropriate techniques and scheduling software.
- Collaborate with project management personnel to gather input and ensure schedule accuracy.
- Document Control & Change Management
- Manage document control processes including logging and tracking new issue drawings and contract documents.
- Review new issue drawings for changes in conditions; quantify impacts and communicate with supervisor.
- Distribute updated documents to field teams and ensure proper implementation.
- Cost Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Prepare monthly cost projections using data from project management systems.
- Develop quarterly cash flow projections to support financial planning.
- Operational Improvement & Leadership
- Recommend improvements to project operations including staffing, methods, and procedures.
- Serve as managing project engineer/coordinator across multiple projects.
- Provide supervision and on‑the‑job training for junior engineers and project staff.
- Support and manage the project team, including direct reports and cross‑functional personnel.
- Safety & Compliance
- Promote and enforce company environmental health and safety programs at the project level.
- Foster a safety‑oriented culture across all project activities.
- Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5–10+ years of experience in construction or engineering.
- Proven experience managing engineers and project teams.
- Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Working knowledge of project controls terminology and scheduling practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Highly motivated with a passion for excellence and initiative.

Base Compensation: $111,000/yr – $140,000 (actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
