Teller Part- or Full-Time (Abilene) – First Bank Texas

Teller – Tellers are responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and promoting bank products and services. They balance cash drawers and maintain a neat work area. Availability: 7 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday, and 8 am – 1 pm Saturday.

• Cashes checks and disburses funds after verifying signatures and sufficient funds to support withdrawals.
• Accepts deposits, confirming the accuracy of the transaction.
• Enters transactions in the bank's record‑keeping system, records all transactions, and produces customer receipts.
• Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote new banking services.
• Balances cash drawers.
• Maintains a work area that ensures the safety of all negotiables and confidential records.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous customer service/cash handling experience is required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• May need to stand or sit for long periods.
