Medical Screener/Phlebotomist – Day 1 Benefits!
Join Bio Life Plasma Services as a Medical Screener/Phlebotomist and play a key role in collecting life‑changing plasma. You will be responsible for screening donors and performing phlebotomy while maintaining high standards of customer service and quality.
About the RoleYou will report to the Plasma Center Manager and assist with plasma donor screening and phlebotomy operations. The position requires flexibility with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
How You Will Contribute- Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on their safety.
- Screen new and repeat donors while recording vital signs and finger stick results.
- Use the Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate process changes.
- Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Capability to lift up to 5 lb., with occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lb. and rarely 50 lb.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Work with potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level 1); 90 % of tasks require prolonged glove wear.
- Minimum 1 year customer or patient‑facing experience is helpful.

Location & CompensationUSA – TX – Abilene
Hourly wage: $16.00 per hour
