Position: RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel/Contract)

We  hiring experienced RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery for a 13-week contract in Abilene, Texas arn up to ($2158 - $2271 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest labor and delivery practices and technologies.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
• Utilize hospital resources efficiently to achieve patient care goals.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records management.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of the latest labor and delivery practices and technologies.
• Experience with quality improvement processes in a healthcare setting.
